Ian Collie

Ian Collie was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Victoria in 1972 and joined the Cleary Hoare team in 1993. Ian has extensive commercial experience both as a lawyer and in diverse areas of business. He developed a significant stud and commercial beef cattle enterprise and later spent some years as a director and chairman of a major beef cattle society.

Ian's experience also includes property development and as a committee member and chairman of both large and small residential body corporates in Queensland. He is currently a director and chairman of a private company operating a manufacturing business. Ian is a Senior Consultant and deals with complex commercial transactions in property and finance, as well as leading our commercial and tax litigation practice.
