Anthony Jarvis

Anthony Jarvis manages Cleary Hoare’s Perth office.  His diverse corporate and commercial legal experience has seen him act for private sector and government clients across Australia. 

Anthony has broad contract law experience with expertise in property and construction, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and information technology, and due diligence projects. He provides regulatory advice on the Corporations Act and related areas, including corporate governance and directors’ duties.

His experience and understanding of business also assists him to provide specialist advisory services to clients in the areas of trust creation, variations and administration, succession planning, and strategic structural arrangements.

Anthony enjoys a reputation for innovation in his approach to devising legal solutions.  He has appeared for the Commonwealth Government in Federal Court matters and is a persuasive negotiator in varied and trying situations.

Anthony has a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and postgraduate qualifications in applied finance in addition to undergraduate degrees in commerce and law and has previously lectured in advanced contract law at Charles Darwin University.

Anthony was appointed by the Western Australian Minister for the Environment to the Contaminated Sites Committee pursuant to the Contaminated Sites Act 2003 and is a board member of the Independent Public School, Mount Pleasant Primary School.  Previous appointments include by the NT Attorney General to the Northern Territory Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and a Commissioner on the AFL Northern Territory Disciplinary Tribunal.
